Kind and Dark

The sparkling fabric overhead

Blocking the blinding glare to spread

The soul among the dancing clouds

Covering the torn drape in light shrouds;

Enveloped in darkness; comes to rest!

Serene, calm and silent; lest

The world awakes and breaks

The lull, to cause the aches.

The seething but soothing darkness,

Rushing to fathom and harness

The wild majesty, against the thrust

Leaving behind trails of dust.

The dust then settles on everything

Tiny particles hiding away the ring;

Obscure and away from sight

Concealed in the absence of light.
