You I see as a celebration of my existence

You I see as a need for persistence

Riding on your back and holding your hand

Walking beside you and running ahead

Waiting for you and making you wait

Listening to you and later debate

Voicing my wisdom borrowed from you

Coloring the canvas in a vintage hue

Painting the world, as you had showed

Growing the roots from the seed you sowed

Standing tall as you had meant

Today I stand my soul content!
